As a Senior Project Manager at UIC Digital, you will join our existing delivery function and work with high-profile clients in tech, sport, and media. You will be responsible for leading complex digital solutions from conception to delivery, working closely with senior client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy day-to-day contact for our clients, working across multiple platforms.
  • Guardian of all product requirements, able to answer any and all questions, technical, commercial, planning, and resourcing.
  • Lead large multi-layered transformational projects, owning every element from product specification through to on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Own and engage in all stages of the Agile development process – planning, stand-up, show-and-tell, and retrospective ceremonies.
  • Work closely with senior client stakeholders from technical, commercial, and content teams to drive delivery of the product development roadmap.
  • Create and maintain documentation for internal and external reporting.
  • Own project scope and deliverables through detailed requirements capture.
  • Act as the wall of quality for our projects and maintain our brand value.
  • Upsell additional services where appropriate.
  • Drive client relationships forward and help achieve their goals in parallel with the account function.
  • Create first-class documentation: project plan, status reports, risk logs, debrief report, etc.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leadership and delivery of complex digital solutions for web and devices.
  • Desirable experience of OTT, connected TV project delivery.
  • Highly skilled in delivering Agile delivery methodology; building and maintaining Jira project backlogs, running Agile ceremonies, leading cross-functional development teams.
  • Excellent practical knowledge of the different skillset and stages in delivering digital projects while working with internal delivery teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge, including release management.
  • Clear demonstrable ability to effectively manage and report on budgets.
  • Refined negotiation skills when dealing directly with clients, including discussing commercials.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats – Project manager, product owner, Scrum-master, account manager.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with an ability to know how to read the room.
  • A team player with a positive, friendly attitude who is not afraid to share ideas.
  • Process-driven with a relentless obsession for detail and quality.
  • Degree-level qualification.
