Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist, working with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with eating disorders. The role is based at our Wedgewood Ward, a six-bedded Tier 4 CAMHS ED service, and involves working three days a week, with on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team in the care and treatment of patients, including weekly ward round reviews, risk assessments, and ongoing treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care plans, adhering to national standards and guidelines.
  • Supervise specialty doctors and contribute to the development of junior staff.
  • Participate in external reviews, such as CQC and Quality Network reviews.
What You'll Need
  • CCT accreditation in CAMHS Psychiatry or be within six months of obtaining it
  • Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status
  • Experience of working in an inpatient CAMHS eating disorders setting
