About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tolerance Manager to join our team at Bertrandt. As a key member of our product assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tolerance Calculation and Analysis: Develop and implement tolerance calculations for components and assemblies, and define geometric specifications to ensure product quality.
  • Drawings Review and Coordination: Review drawings for completeness and meaningfulness, and coordinate with specialist departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of results.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support concept development, series production, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Statistical Tolerance Calculations and Sensitivity Analysis: Interpret, document, and evaluate statistical tolerance calculations and sensitivity analyses to inform product design and development decisions.
  • Concept Improvements and Quality Enhancements: Collaborate with teams to identify and implement measures to increase product quality and improve concept designs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Relevant engineering degree or relevant experience in tolerance management, simulation, reference systems, measurement technology, and quality assurance.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of CAD and tolerance software, such as CATIA V5, Siemens NX, and 3DCS, as well as experience with reference point systems and GD&T/RPS.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and assertiveness, analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
