We are looking for a highly skilled Vulnerability Management Lead to join our team at Addition+. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global financial services leader and drive innovation and excellence in Cybersecurity Operations.

About the Role

  • The successful candidate will provide leadership and mentorship to a team of cybersecurity experts, overseeing partnerships with third-party penetration testing providers.
  • They will identify and escalate recurring vulnerability patterns, contribute to strategic discussions focused on reducing cyber risks, and recommend tactical and long-term enhancements to vulnerability management and security testing processes.
  • This role requires strong ability to influence and drive outcomes with both business and technical teams, managing all aspects of penetration testing from planning and budgeting to execution and scope definition.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in vulnerability management operations, proficiency in managing vulnerabilities across on-premises and public cloud environments.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in people management, broad understanding of information security concepts (confidentiality, integrity, availability) and frameworks like NIST, CIS, and ISO.
  • Familiarity with security testing methodologies such as OWASP, CVSS, CBEST, and CREST, expertise in commercial vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, SysDig, BitSight, or similar.
  • Sound knowledge of security controls (e.g., WAF, IPS, firewalls, EDR, AV) and their role in mitigating cyber risks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and communicate findings effectively.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Salary Range: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
