Job Title: Vulnerability Manager

Hellowork Consultants is seeking an experienced Vulnerability Manager to join our team. This role is critical in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities within our organization and maintaining compliance with industry standards and best practices.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will work closely with the security operations, risk management, and compliance teams to ensure that all security incidents, vulnerabilities, and findings are thoroughly documented, analyzed, and reported. This involves assisting in documenting vulnerabilities identified through assessments, penetration tests, or third-party scanning tools, providing clear, actionable recommendations for mitigation or remediation of identified vulnerabilities, and maintaining a log of vulnerabilities, risks, and the status of remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Documenting Vulnerabilities
  • Identify and document vulnerabilities through assessments, penetration tests, or third-party scanning tools.
  • Provide clear, actionable recommendations for mitigation or remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain a log of vulnerabilities, risks, and the status of remediation efforts.
  • Work closely with technical security teams to ensure that findings are correctly documented and acted upon.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience (2-5 years) in security analysis, incident response, or related IT security role.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts, including risk management, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Experience with documentation and reporting tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per annum, depending on experience.
