Vulnerability Mitigation Specialist Lead

Stanford Black Limited is seeking an accomplished Vulnerability Mitigation Specialist Lead to spearhead our vulnerability management function in a pioneering fintech company. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in threat mitigation, risk analysis, and compliance.

You will be responsible for overseeing the technical and non-technical aspects of vulnerability identification, prioritisation, patching, and remediation, ensuring timely delivery and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate vulnerabilities for exploitability and synchronise patching schedules to maintain an optimal security stance.
  • Supervise pre- and post-patch assessments to verify integrity and efficacy.
  • Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, promoting teamwork and expediting issue resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and security standards, including ISO 27001 and NIST.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vulnerability management or a related security role.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or relevant security qualifications.
  • Awareness of globally dispersed organisations and fast-paced work environments.
