We are seeking an experienced and organized Apprentice Contract Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administration support to our Contract Managers, Site Staff, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Contract Managers with project-related administration, including placing orders and ensuring procurement schedules are adhered to.
- Manage the Sub-Contractor Database, keeping supplier insurances up to date.
- Assist with the maintenance of office systems, including data management, databases, spreadsheets, and filing.
- Maintain the office diary system and client database.
- Monitor emails for nominated members of staff when they are not in the office.
- Perform general administrative and office duties.
- Screen phone calls, enquiries, and requests, and handle them in an appropriate manner.
- Help with providing reception and telephone cover during absences.
- Perform general administration duties, including typing, photocopying, folding of drawings, filing, and archiving.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Good IT skills, including Word and Excel.
- DBS Checks may be required.
This role is fully office-based, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (4pm on a Friday), with parking on site.
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000.
Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holidays, other great benefits, newly refurbished offices.
