### Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client's finance team in Sheffield. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring timely payment processing.
### Key Responsibilities
* Update the cash book with bank transactions and reconcile bank statements
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
* Process payments and invoices in a timely manner
* Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations
* Liaise with suppliers and investigate/resolve any discrepancies
### Requirements
* Proven experience as a ledger clerk or in a similar role
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Proficient in Excel and finance systems
* Good communication and teamwork skills
