About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client's growing maintenance function. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of industrial equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working with PLCs such as Siemens S7. You should also be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, fault finding on electrical components, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of maintenance technicians to ensure effective maintenance of industrial equipment
  • Fault finding on electrical components, including sensors, safety relays, and inverters
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including swapping out mechanical components and upgrading cabinets
  • Working with PLCs such as Siemens S7 to diagnose and repair issues

Requirements
  • A recognised electrical qualification, such as an HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience working effectively within or leading a team
  • A sound understanding of key electrical components and PLCs
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £45,000 per annum, plus benefits including a healthy company pension contribution and 34 shifts of holiday allowance.
