About the Role

Dunoon

35 Hours

Enable is a dynamic organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities. We are looking for a motivated and driven Personal Assistant to join our team and support someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes.

As a Personal Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the life of the person we support. This will involve assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioral support. You will also have the opportunity to expand their social networks and connections.

Our team works collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and aspirations of the people we support are met. We believe in developing all our staff and provide an extensive learning programme together with in-house career development opportunities.

About the Person We Support

The person we support has varied interests and hobbies and has many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do. They require support with daily tasks, including household chores and going out to the local pub. They also enjoy going for daily walks and visiting the local health suite.

About You

We are looking for someone who is committed, dedicated, and above all, has a desire to support the person we support to get the most out of life. You will need to be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and have the skills and competencies required for the role. Experience in care is not necessary, as we recruit people based on their values and transferable skills.

About Us

Enable is an equal opportunities employer and our recruitment, selection, and assessment process is based entirely on values, skills, and competencies required of the specific role. We have an excellent range of staff benefits on offer, including a health cash plan, employee assistance programme, and cycle to work scheme.
