Talent Acquisition Role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at the Resourcing Group in Gloucester.

This full-time role will involve managing one experienced HR Administrator and working closely with senior management.

The successful candidate will have a CIPD qualification or equivalent, a strong knowledge of employment laws, labour relations, and HR best practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Support: Provide support and guidance to employees on company policies and procedures.
  • Performance Improvement: Conduct probation reviews and provide guidance to managers for annual appraisals.
  • Benefits Administration: Ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages, manage monthly payroll processes, and coordinate with finance to manage salary administration.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to support employee skill development, compliance training, and leadership development.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Business Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with organisational goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate day-to-day HR records.
Requirements and Offer
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, labour relations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to prioritise work effectively.
  • Good IT skills, especially Excel and web-based systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a team spirit.
Salary and Benefits
  • £35,000-£45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
  • 24 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, increasing to 29 days with service.
