The Pharmacy Co-ordinator will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of the BRI inpatient pharmacy, working closely with the pharmacy manager to ensure seamless coordination of services. This role will be split 50/50 between the inpatient pharmacy and Pharmacy Distribution/Medicines Optimisation services.
Main Responsibilities- Assist the pharmacy manager in training and developing pharmacy staff, including organizing attendance on relevant courses and encouraging professional development.
- Contribute to the recruitment process for pharmacy staff, ensuring alignment with Trust policies and procedures.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels by approving annual leave and study leave, and arranging regular destruction of controlled drugs.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy manager and operations manager to monitor workload and optimize staff deployment.

Person Specification- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
