Accounts Support Specialist

The Albert Roger Group is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to provide support with Sales and Purchase Ledger functions, working collaboratively with our finance team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to contribute to various tasks within our finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payments, reconciling bank transactions, streamlining invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Payment Allocation: Allocate payments to the Purchase and Sales ledgers, ensuring accurate posting.
  • Bank Statement Processing: Process receipts and payments directly from bank statements.
  • Invoice Coding: Ensure purchase invoices are correctly coded post-auto entry and sales invoices are accurately uploaded and coded from our order management software.
  • Credit Card Processing: Post credit card transactions onto the Purchase ledger.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Group Financial Controller on ad-hoc duties.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Partner with colleagues to uphold financial regulations and internal policies.
Job Requirements:
  • Essential Skills: Previous accounts experience required.
  • Software Knowledge: Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Xero Proficiency: Familiarity with Xero is beneficial.
