Job Title: Deputy Director Policy

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Director Policy to join our team at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our pharmacy services.

About the Role

The Deputy Director Policy will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our pharmacy people and financial plans. You will work closely with our Director of Pharmacy to ensure that our pharmacy services are aligned with the Trust's overall strategy and that we are providing the best possible care to our patients.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of our pharmacy people and financial plans
  • Working closely with our Director of Pharmacy to ensure alignment with the Trust's overall strategy
  • Providing professional leadership to our Learning and Development and Pharmacoeconomics teams
  • Ensuring that our pharmacy services are safe, effective, and efficient
  • Developing and implementing cost reduction initiatives within the pharmacy services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in leading and working effectively in a multi-professional team environment
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business planning and forecasting skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly developed analytical and interpretation skills
