Job SummaryWe're seeking Wellbeing Support Workers to join our team in Headington, Oxford. As a Wellbeing Support Worker, you'll provide support and companionship to individuals in their homes, helping them with daily tasks, personal care, and social activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support with daily tasks, such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Assist with personal care, including toileting, washing, and bathing
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments, day centers, and social activities
- Engage in conversation and provide companionship to individuals
- Ability to work in Headington, Oxford, and commute between visits (up to 15 minutes by bike)
- No prior care experience required; full training provided
- Compassion, respect, and a desire to support individuals in their community
- Real Living Wage employer, paying for full shifts (not just contact time)
- Weekly paid team meetings and buddy time
- Full-time, part-time, or flexi (zero hours) roles available
- 30 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays) + birthday off work
- A supportive environment, working in a team with diverse skills and experience
Our recruitment process involves a short conversation with our Recruitment Lead, followed by an online video workshop. You'll need to complete a short 5-minute values survey online, ideally before the workshop. The final stage would be a shadow shift, shadowing one of our current Wellbeing Support Workers.
