About the Role

Safran Landing Systems is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) professional to join our team. As an HS&E Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, as well as the environmental sustainability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the HS&E Team in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, including conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures.
  • Provide guidance and advice to employees and managers on HS&E matters, including compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement HS&E training programs to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate potential HS&E risks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HS&E, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HS&E regulations and standards, including COMAH and environmental permits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of discretion and sensitivity.
  • Computer literate and with good administrative ability.

The role is based in Gloucester, with occasional travel to other Safran sites.
