Techniche Global Ltd is supporting a defense company to appoint a Senior Safety Engineer. You will provide land systems safety engineering skills and advice to external and internal clients and assist in the development of business growth.

Salary: up to £70k + Benefits Package

This role is based in Farnborough, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2/3 days on-site and the remaining time working from home or another designated location.

The position is permanent and full-time, offering a stable career path for the right candidate.

Please note that due to the nature of the role, only sole UK nationals can apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead safety projects to ensure that work tasks are delivered to specified time, cost, and quality standards
  • Support the provision of solutions to problems that are defensible, auditable, and meet customers' expectations and needs
  • Provide support to time estimates and wording for inputs to bids
  • Ensure all work performed is consistent with the Company's Compliance Procedures
  • Support and develop potential business opportunities within the existing and potential customer base
  • Support effective technical networks with Land Systems customers
Essential Experience:
  • Knowledge and experience working in a similar role within regulatory organisations
Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
Additional Information:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary range for a Senior Safety Engineer in the defence industry.
