The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Arboriculture Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience leading teams and ensuring Health and Safety standards are adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of tree-cutting equipment, processes, techniques, and health and safety standards.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Confidently lead a team and set expectations
- Motivate and coach the team
- Delegate work, allocating tasks based on strengths and weaknesses within the team
- Communicate with team members and management
- Keep up to date with progress and ensure the team is meeting its goals
About You:
To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-Cutting
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Tree Climbing and Rescue
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 3, Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw Using Free-fall Techniques
- Basic arboriculture academic qualification or proof of work-based skills
- A full UK driving license
