Production Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating food packing lines, ensuring quality and safety standards, and contributing to our company's mission to deliver exceptional products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate food packing lines efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality products and minimal waste.
- Conduct regular quality checks and record results, escalating any non-conformances to ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and hygienic work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Drive plant key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, quality, service, hygiene, and safety.
- Take ownership of your zone and the plant, promoting good housekeeping, hygiene, and 5S/lean standards.
- Utilize OEE data to improve cost, quality, efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
- Basic training will be provided, but good numeric and computer skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, with good communication skills.
- Ability to operate machinery and perform minor adjustments if required.
- Results-focused to ensure all targets are met.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and uses initiative.
- Strong team player who adopts a continuous improvement approach.
- Promotes safe working practices.
