Production Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating food packing lines, ensuring quality and safety standards, and contributing to our company's mission to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate food packing lines efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality products and minimal waste.
- Conduct regular quality checks and record results, escalating any non-conformances to ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and hygienic work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Drive plant key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, quality, service, hygiene, and safety.
- Take ownership of your zone and the plant, ensuring good housekeeping, hygiene, and 5S/lean standards are met.
- Use data from Lineview to understand machine performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement root cause analysis.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
- Basic training will be provided, but good numeric and computer skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, with good communication skills.
- Ability to operate machinery and perform minor adjustments if required.
- Results-focused, with a strong commitment to meeting targets.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a continuous improvement approach.
- Promotes safe working practices and adheres to company policies and procedures.
