Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate food packing lines efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality products and minimal waste.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and record results, escalating any non-conformances to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and hygienic work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Drive plant key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, quality, service, hygiene, and safety.
  • Take ownership of your zone and the plant, ensuring good housekeeping, hygiene, and 5S/lean standards are met.
  • Use data from Lineview to understand machine performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement root cause analysis.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
  • Basic training will be provided, but good numeric and computer skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, with good communication skills.
  • Ability to operate machinery and perform minor adjustments if required.
  • Results-focused, with a strong commitment to meeting targets.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Promotes safe working practices and adheres to company policies and procedures.
