**Position Responsibilities**
**Supervision and Leadership**:

- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of compression operators and technicians.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols.

**Production Planning and Scheduling**:

- Develop production schedules and ensure timely execution of compression activities to meet production targets.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and resource utilization.

**Equipment Maintenance and Calibration**:

- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of compression equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and quality control measures.
- Prepare reports for management review, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the compression department.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

**Education / Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with compression in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is required.
- Two years of experience in a leadership position supervising employees is required.
- Must be able to work the 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:00 am.
- Proficiency in GMP and regulatory requirements.

Pay: £7.14-£17.07 per hour
