Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist One-to-One Study Skills Coach to join our team. As a Study Skills Coach, you will work closely with Higher Education students who require one-to-one support due to specific learning differences.

About the Role:

This is a specialist role that requires experience working with individuals with specific learning differences, ideally in Higher or Further Education. The successful candidate will develop individualised learning plans, facilitate sessions to help students develop effective learning strategies, and provide ongoing support to enable students to become independent learners.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students.
  • Facilitate sessions to help students develop effective learning strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support to enable students to become independent learners.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with specific learning differences.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Professional membership with one of the following bodies: PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE or Dyslexia Guild.
