Senior Sales Executive

Become a key player in our successful manufacturer, distributor, and importer of Electrical / Electronic Testing Equipment as our Senior Sales Executive. Based in Watford, you will work alongside our senior leadership team, driving new and existing business in a front-line sales capacity. You will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction of our commercial and sales operation, recruiting, managing, and developing our sales team, while taking ownership of budgets and targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Dealing with several key accounts, working on the specification of our product range to new and existing clients across Utilities, Engineering, Facilities Management, Contracting, and general Industrial customers.
- Conducting a holistic review of the sales function across the company and identifying and implementing the correct strategy for growth, including hiring, managing, targets, and budgets.
Your ideal background includes:
- A proven track record of sales, business development, and key account management success from a manufacturer, distributor, or importer of electrical/electronic products or components.
- A strategic leader who can guide the commercial direction of our business while acting as the face of the company in a front-line senior sales role, capable of building long-term relationships.
- Experience managing sales teams to targets of £2m - £10m.
- Experience in building, developing, and managing a sales team and knowing how to get the best out of sales professionals.
- A most probably electrical/electronic qualification or a time-served sales professional within an appropriate sector.
