Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading their own sales team, establishing the necessary structures, and driving the business forward. This will involve developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in the UK and Ireland markets, focusing on expanding the company's freight and customs services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive growth in the UK and Ireland markets.
- Set and achieve revenue goals by identifying and securing new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
- Work closely with senior management to align sales efforts with overall business strategy.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospects, ensuring a steady flow of new business opportunities.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a strong track record of driving business growth in the Freight Forwarding/Logistics industry.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK & Ireland freight and customs markets is highly desirable.
