Communication Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Child Development Expert to join our team at Academics, providing specialist support to children with complex needs.

About the Position

This role involves working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop strategies to improve communication skills and promote independence.

Job Description
  1. Supporting children with speech, language, and communication difficulties, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  2. Developing and implementing individualised education plans to meet the specific needs of each child.
  3. Maintaining accurate records of progress and communicating effectively with parents and carers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in speech and language therapy, ideally with experience working with children with Learning Difficulties and Autism.
  • An understanding of child development and learning theories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities.
Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive daily rate of £85 per day, plus benefits.
