The Confederation of Service Charities is seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Volunteer Community Outreach Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Veterans by providing emotional support and connecting them with resources.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Providing emotional support to Veterans through telephone calls and home or hospital visits
  • Connecting Veterans with relevant resources and services
  • Assisting with event planning and coordination

Requirements for this role include:

  • Experience in administration, minute-taking, book-keeping, IT, marketing, PR, recruiting, or charity collection
  • Excellent communication and empathy skills
  • Able to work flexibly and commit to regular support sessions

This is an unpaid volunteer position, but travel expenses can be reimbursed. Estimated salary for this role is £15-20 per hour, depending on location and experience.
