We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Specialist to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and child development, with a background in psychology.

As an Education Support Specialist, you will provide 1:1 or small group support to children, helping them engage with lessons, build confidence, and improve academic performance. You will use your understanding of psychology to support students with SEN, such as autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties, tailoring learning strategies to meet their needs.

The ideal candidate will be able to work alongside teachers to create an inclusive, nurturing environment that encourages all students to succeed, contributing to lesson planning and classroom activities. You will also assist children in managing their behaviour and emotions, using positive reinforcement and coping techniques to enhance their learning experience.

**Job Requirements:**

  • A psychology graduate with a passion for education and child development.
  • Ability to work in a school setting, providing individualised support to children.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers and other staff members.
