**Job Description:** Education Support Professional

Rikama Education is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Support Professional to join our team. As an essential member of our support staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the academic and personal success of students with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in special educational needs (SEN) and experience working with students who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD), challenging behavior, or mental health conditions. You will be responsible for providing individualized support to students, developing and implementing strategies to promote their emotional and behavioral well-being, and collaborating with teaching staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality support to students with complex needs, including those with ASD, challenging behavior, or mental health conditions
  • To develop and implement individualized support plans to promote students' academic and personal growth
  • To work collaboratively with teaching staff to provide guidance and advice on supporting students with SEN
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Degree in Special Educational Needs or related field
  • Experience working with students with complex needs, including those with ASD, challenging behavior, or mental health conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
