Electrical Installation Engineer Opportunity

Unify is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our team in Aylesbury, working on water/wastewater sector projects. As an Electrical Installation Engineer, you will work closely with higher management, providing opportunities for career progression and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical installation on various projects in and around our client regions across the UK.
  • Ensure the health and safety of the commissioning phase of the project.
  • Provide progress updates and raise concerns to the Commissioning Manager & Project Manager.
  • Ensure electrical installation meets quality and standards.
  • Produce and review Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Assist in producing electrical installation plans, inspection test plans, and training manuals.
  • Coordinate with the systems integration team for Site Acceptance Tests and Telemetry commissioning.
  • Review P&ID diagrams and provide strategies for commissioning plant and equipment.
  • Attend site meetings with clients' engineering and operational teams.
  • Undertake or supervise NICEIC electrical installation testing to C&G 2391.
  • Demonstrate electrical installations of plant to clients' representatives.
  • Complete electrical installation & commissioning records and diaries.
  • Assist the design team in preparing electrical designs ensuring compliance with IEE regulations.
  • Fully Qualified Electrician to JIB Gold Card Standards.
  • Full UK Driver's licence.
  • Experience working in the UK on Industrial projects.
  • Water/wastewater experience is desirable.
  • Thames Water Passport (Desirable).
  • Working knowledge of electrical installations on instrumentation and control systems.
