About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team at Morgan Law in the Home Counties. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement an agreed procurement strategy for IT and Marketing categories.

The successful candidate will report into the Head of Procurement and be responsible for delivering value and cost savings, developing relationships with senior stakeholders, and ensuring continual improvement and best practice is delivered.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in commercial negotiations, contract management, and IT/Digital procurement projects. They will also possess excellent financial evaluation skills and the ability to prepare business justifications recommending actions to be taken.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT and Marketing categories
  • Deliver value and cost savings through effective negotiation and contractual relationships
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure continual improvement and best practice
  • Educate and develop stakeholders on procurement best practices

Requirements:

  • CIPS qualified or working towards the qualification
  • Solid experience in commercial negotiations and contract management
  • Previous experience in managing IT/Digital procurement projects
  • Excellent financial evaluation skills and ability to prepare business justifications

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
