Job Summary: MWH Treatment is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join their Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing superior quality Engineering Design services to support the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the design and production of civil design documents and drawings, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, specifications, and standards.
  • Drive the development and review of civil and structural 3D engineering models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead the production and review of construction quality civil layouts and structure general arrangement drawings, focusing on cost-effectiveness, safety, and compliance.
  • Work closely with the Civil Discipline Lead to develop and implement procedures and processes, ensuring the continued growth and development of the discipline.
  • Resource planning and project delivery within budget and programme, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate designs with other disciplines, utilizing internal and external resources to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain accurate files and records throughout the duration of contracts, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to civil design staff, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Support the development of staff, focusing on skills enhancement and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure designs take full regard of environmental issues and health and safety requirements, promoting a safe and sustainable work environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in civil engineering, with experience in design and project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
