Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Estimator for our Westok division, based at our flagship offices in Leeds. The role will involve regular customer visits across the UK, ideal for an experienced specification sales executive who excels at developing collaborative relationships throughout the supply chain.

Main Responsibilities

  • Compile tender packages for steelwork fabricators for Kloeckner Metals UK specific products and associated value-added services in line with business KPIs.
  • Manage Key Accounts through regular contact, both verbal and in-person, to secure tendered projects and collaborate with the Design Team to mitigate any threats.
  • Issue successful order packages through to the Contracts Team for Manufacture.

Key Accountabilities

  • Respond accurately and swiftly to customer enquiries for all Westok solutions and complimentary value-added services, at times requiring the compilation of budget prices from limited information.
  • Be responsible for Key Accounts, making regular contact, including visits and site meetings where required.
  • Develop customer-focused relationships, concentrating on Sales, Estimating, and Technical support for existing and new customers, developing them into long-term business partners.
  • Use proactive sales methods to increase and maintain the customer base, build relationships with current and potential customers, including Main Contractors, end users, and specifiers.
