Role Overview
We invite applications from enthusiastic and resourceful individuals to fill the position of Dietetic Assistant. Reporting directly to the dietitian, you will engage in vital support activities, fostering optimal patient outcomes and promoting collaborative practice.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Under the guidance of the dietitian, develop and implement programmes tailored to patient needs, leveraging initiative and autonomy where feasible.
- Cultivate effective relationships with patients and carers, taking into account diverse backgrounds, abilities, and requirements.
- Embark on a path of continuous learning and skill enhancement, participating in regular supervision sessions, workshops, and online courses.
- Pursue additional responsibilities as assigned by the dietitian, refining your skillset and bolstering teamwork.
Compensation and Perks
This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £29,000 to £34,000, based on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you can expect:

Qualifications and Experience
To apply, you should hold:
- A level 1 or minimum grade D/E GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent) - along with a commitment to achieve a higher level if currently below it.
- A valid DBS check - given the nature of the work, confidentiality agreements are essential.
- Experience in a similar capacity or any related job in the health sector.
- A willingness to commit to ongoing training and supervised sessions to improve both overall understanding and new tasks as set out by the operational directions.
