We are pleased to offer the opportunity for an Administrative Finance Associate to join our client's finance team in South Derby.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance department in tasks such as reviewing and processing purchase invoices, managing shared mailboxes, and investigating invoice queries from clients.
Daily Responsibilities:
- To review, process, and reconcile purchase invoices ensuring compliance with regular procedures and maintaining up-to-date records.
- Manage shared mailboxes, ensuring all queries are resolved in a timely manner while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries from clients promptly, ensuring clear communication throughout.
- Research, review, and undertake any necessary training to maintain compliance with HMRC in relation to expense processes.
- Assist in completing period-end processes in a timely manner.
- Undertake general administration duties and any other reasonable requests that may be required to meet the business needs.
- Develop a working knowledge and understanding of the duties of other finance team members to ensure cover can be provided for annual leave or absence.
- Support with month-end billing and supplier invoice reconciliations.
Requirements:
- AAT qualification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
Salary Information:
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
