Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support and care to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting independence and positive behavior.
  • Assist with daily living activities and personal care, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards, handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality support service, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the lives of service users.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check (child and adult).
  • Mandatory training in safeguarding adults and children, moving and handling, infection prevention and control, GDPR and data protection awareness, health and safety awareness, first aid awareness, equality and diversity, and mental capacity act/DoLS.

Optional Training (Preferred but not Required): Nourish Training, Food Hygiene and Safety, COSHH, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), PEG Feeding, Immediate Life Support, Managing Challenging Behaviour, Epilepsy Awareness and Buccal Administration, Dysphagia/Safe Swallowing, Stoma and Diabetes Experience, Mental Health and Dementia Awareness.
