We are a modern, purpose-built practice serving a growing list of approximately 10,300 patients in Newton Abbot and surrounding areas. Our practice is rated 'Good' by the CQC and is part of the Newton West Primary Care Network, serving 35,000 patients.
Our ApproachWe operate an urgent care/on-the-day team, working closely with our receptionists, Advanced Practitioners, and pharmacist team to manage and direct patient flow. This enables us to focus on continuity with dedicated daily continuity slots and monthly continuity clinics for each GP.
Our Commitment to StaffWe are committed to staying at the forefront of changes within General Practice and recognize the importance of supporting, growing, and training all levels of our staff, both clinical and administrative. We have 3 GP trainers hosting a number of GP registrars and support medical student training placements of all years.
Our Benefits- 15 minute appointments (mixture of telephone and face to face)
- Daily continuity slots and monthly continuity clinic
- Support for new to practice fellowship and those wishing to engage in further training in minor ops, coils, implants and so on
- 6 weeks' annual leave and 1 week's study leave pro rata (with study budget)
- Participation in education/supervision with GP registrars and medical students
- Medical research practice
- Premises built 10 years ago, with minor surgery theatre, large conference room/facilities and private courtyard
- Provision of regular sabbaticals for partners
