**Empathetic Support Needed for Children with Complex Needs**
Vetro Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join their team at a specialist school, college, and children's home in rural Surrey. As a Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people with complex learning disabilities, severe social communication, and behavioural challenges.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide emotional and practical support to young people outside of school hours and during classroom breaks.
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, shopping, and participation in on and off-site activities.
- Promote independence and overall well-being.
- Contribute to exciting holiday trips and activities.
**Requirements:**
- Empathy, enthusiasm, compassion, mental, physical, and emotional resilience.
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children or in a similar Social Care setting.
- Flexibility to undertake sleep-in duties.
- Driver's license and access to own car due to rural location.
