Job Description

This role involves working as a key member of the operating room team, providing high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining sterile equipment, assisting surgeons during operations, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual.
  • Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients.
  • Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
  • Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards.

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this role is around £28-£38 per hour, based on national averages and industry standards.
