We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated nurse to fill the position of Senior Oncology Nursing Professional within our Urology team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Job

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to provide high-quality patient care, support, and advice to patients with urology cancer. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care and service delivery.

Key Duties
  • Deliver a high-quality specialist nursing service to patients with suspected urology cancer or confirmed cancer diagnosis, which includes prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, and penile cancer.
  • Support and advise new patients and their families and carers at the time of diagnosis and beyond.
  • Develop and implement education, training, and support programs for healthcare professionals to enhance continuity of care throughout the patient's journey.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in cancer and/or urology nursing, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Professional registration with NMC.
  • MSc in cancer specialist/related healthcare area or equivalent qualifications.

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a generous pension scheme, unsocial hours payments, and access to a range of NHS discounts.
