About the Job:

We are seeking a Support Professional to work as a Personal Assistant in a residential setting, supporting an individual with Autism in the Lichfield area. This is a part-time role, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support to the client, while also promoting their independence and autonomy.

About the Client:

The client has a range of needs, including personal care, household tasks, and managing their pets. They have a complex care plan, which includes Stoma care, and require assistance with medication management and appointment scheduling.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to the client with Autism
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Prepare meals and snacks, as well as assist with household tasks
  • Accompany the client on outings and engage in their hobbies and interests
  • Support the client with medication management and appointment scheduling

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with Autism or similar conditions
  • Ability to provide physical support, including lifting and transferring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
  • DBS clearance and valid car driver's license (desirable)
