**About the Role**

Burton Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial division, you will be responsible for managing and expanding local business by ensuring customers receive a first-class service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of commercial and personal policies, including changes, renewal reviews, new business quotations, and providing customers with necessary service and advice.
  • Building and retaining long-term relationships with our customers through exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of industry nuances.
  • Navigating and utilizing industry-specific software to manage and process policy adjustments, renewals, and new business inquiries.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months of experience in a comparable role within commercial insurance.
  • Proven track record of business development and growth in a similar industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
