Logistics Support Specialist

Pertemps Banbury is looking for a Logistics Support Specialist to join their team in a dynamic and fast-paced warehouse environment. This short-term assignment, lasting around 4 weeks, offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics and operations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Process goods in and ensure accurate inventory levels by checking order specifications.
- Material Handling: Move and arrange boxes, relabel shelves, and fill racking as required.
- Warehouse Reorganisation: Assist the team in reorganising the warehouse space to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary paperwork on the computer with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Numeracy and IT Skills: Demonstrate competent numeracy and PC skills to efficiently manage tasks and data.
- Communication Skills: Possess good written and spoken English to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Physical Fitness: Be physically fit due to the physical nature of the role.
- FLT Licence (Desirable): An FLT licence is beneficial but not essential for this position.
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
The estimated salary for this role is £12-15 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
