Job Overview: We are seeking a Safeguarding Children Consultant to join our team in South East London. As a consultant, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to assess and manage risks to children and provide expert advice on safeguarding best practices.

About the Role:

  • Work as part of a team to assess and manage risks to children and provide expert advice on safeguarding best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies for supporting vulnerable families and children.
  • Collaborate with internal / external professionals to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Deliver safeguarding training to staff and provide supervision in one-to-one, group, and reflective learning forums.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of child protection and advanced analytical skills for safeguarding children.
  • Experience in delivering safeguarding training and supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.

Salary Estimate: £32-£45 per hour (dependent on skill and experience)
