We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and supportive SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Jack Tizard School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to our pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant who can provide high-quality support to our pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with our dedicated team of teachers and support staff to deliver tailored learning programs that cater to the unique needs of our students. Your role will also involve supporting the development of positive relationships across the school community.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to pupils with SLD and PMLD, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Support the development of positive relationships across the school community, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and participation, using this data to inform future learning plans.
- Contribute to the development of a diverse and inclusive school culture, promoting equality and diversity in all aspects of school life.
