Project Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a National Facilities Management company at one of their prestigious clients' sites, contributing to significant growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with commercial, technical, and operational management to develop contractor lists and identify new business prospects.
- Work with the Contracts Manager to prepare annual business plans, highlighting opportunities and the development of small projects' operations.
- Prepare programmes, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Procure labour, materials, and sub-contractors in accordance with buying procedures, minimizing waste and costs.
- Liaise with management, keeping them informed of contract progress and issues affecting contract running.
- Develop an in-house, cost-effective, and multi-skilled team of technicians based on current and projected project activity.
- Manage and close supervise staff and sub-contractors, ensuring Health and Safety compliance and up-to-date knowledge of statutory requirements, including CDM Regulations.
- Maintain accurate project administration files and costs (financial records).
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in a Project Engineering or Senior Electricians role.
- Knowledge of key operational management disciplines, such as quality control, work planning methods, and Health and Safety practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- IT literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, and project management tools.
- A valid full driving license.
- Ability to gain SC clearance (supported by site).
- Educated to HNC/HND Standard (or equivalent).
