Job Title: Support for Learning Specialist

Newcastle School for Boys, a renowned independent school in the north east of England, is seeking a skilled Support for Learning Specialist to join its Senior School team. This challenging and rewarding role will enable the successful candidate to utilize their expertise in supporting students with literacy and/or dyslexia, contributing to the school's dedication to providing an exceptional education for boys aged 3-18.

About the Role:
This full-time position involves providing targeted support to students with literacy and/or dyslexia, working collaboratively with teaching staff and other support professionals to ensure students receive the best possible learning experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in and experience of supporting students with literacy and/or dyslexia, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality support to students with literacy and/or dyslexia, utilizing evidence-based strategies and techniques
* Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
* Collaborate with other support staff to ensure seamless delivery of support services
* Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers to ensure open communication and shared understanding of student needs
