About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our team at Haines Watts Western in Exeter.

As an Audit and Accounts Manager, you will assist the Senior Management team and Directors in delivering statutory audit and accounts preparation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • 50% Audit / 50% Accounts, including Charity and Not for Profit Sector
  • Management and delivery of audit / accounts assignments
  • Oversight of workflow and management of team
  • Taking lead role on audit assignments from planning to completion
  • Reviewing and preparing draft corporation tax and business tax computations, including support analysis
  • Preparation of statutory accounts from client trial balance
  • Assisting with senior management team / Partners
  • Building and sustaining key relationships with clients

Your Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • ACA / ACCA qualification with practice experience
  • Experience managing audit assignments
  • Commercial awareness
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting

Haines Watts Western offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as:
