Gym Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Gym Operations Manager to join our Everlast Gyms team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new member sales, maximizing retention, and overall growth of the live member movement.

About the Role

  • As a Gym Operations Manager, you will be responsible for representing Frasers Group as an ambassador for fitness, promoting our brand values and standards.
  • You will demonstrate our elevated ways of working always, embodying the company culture.
  • You will advocate for our FUNDAMENTALS sales process, leading by example and supporting the wider team to improve confidence and performance.
  • You will focus on driving new member sales and retaining existing members to grow the live member movement.
  • You will own the activity planners for the gym, ensuring they are thorough, well-planned, and executed.
  • You will implement strategies to increase lead generation both internally and externally.
  • You will monitor our dashboards and KPIs, communicating key insights to the wider team.
  • You will drive all revenue lines from membership sales to product and secondary, to drive profitability of the gym.
  • You will prepare and deliver monthly sales presentations to the wider management team.
  • You will build key relationships with local businesses to evolve local partnerships.
  • You will develop the #WeMoveBusinesses membership opportunities (both new and existing).
  • You will lead by example on reception and the gym floor in this member-facing role designed to enhance every visit.
  • You will buy-in to national focuses and incentives like #WorkoutWednesday and #WeCommunicate.
  • You will willing and able to deliver honest, constructive feedback regularly to support all team members in achieving their potential and challenging them on a daily basis.
  • You will support the General Manager and wider team with any operational tasks necessary to ensure the business operates correctly, including Health & Safety, Facilities, Maintenance, Recruitment.
  • You will deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times whenever in the gym.
