Job Description: Solar Energy Infrastructure Manager

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Solar Energy Infrastructure Manager to lead our team in designing and developing large-scale solar energy projects. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing the grid connection aspects of these projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and specify substation and grid infrastructure equipment for project connections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop project proposals and business cases.
  • Manage relationships with network operators and trade bodies to secure necessary approvals and permits.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with less experienced team members to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in solar energy infrastructure development with a strong understanding of grid connection procedures.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in renewable energy, engineering, or a related discipline.
